Annnd here's another Improvement Meme I did! This not only demonstrates how my art/drawing style has improved, but also presents how my characters look now, versus their old character designs. So in the foreground, Trekkon is stabbing through Fenix with his chains, while in the background, Sesra is on the left and Katume is on the right.

So this took me wayyy longer than expected! I feel like there are still some proportion issues and the lighting is a little weird, but other than that I'm actually fairly satisfied with how this came out. I meant to make this way more violent, but I kind of toned down the blood a bit because I didn't like how the blood was coming out... so I didn't really want to ruin the piece by putting too much blood in it. xD _{Plus then I'd have to put the Mature Content warning on this piece if it were any more violent.} Annnd just wanted to point out that the grass took me FOREVER... and I realized that I really hate drawing chains even though I used to love drawing them.

So here's the part from the Trekkon's Initiation Eventure:
[05:40] * Fenix lands a few feet away from Trekkon, but by her suprise, his chains stab directly through her chest from behind.
[05:41] * Fenix falls to her knees, coughing up blood. She grasps the chains in attempt to remove them, but it just causes them to electrify her, inflicting more pain.
[05:42] <Trekkon> It's over, Fenix.
[05:42] <Rasake> Trekkon, stop! Fenix is about to die!
[05:42] <Trekkon> That's... the point.
[05:44] * Trekkon controls the chains to return to his hands. Fenix now lies helplessly on the ground. Trekkon holds his chains forward, preparing to deliever the final blow.
[05:50] * Trekkon flings his chains foward, as they pierce through Fenix, causing her to scream in pain.
[05:51] <Rasake> Fenix!!!!
[05:53] * Trekkon walks over to Fenix slowly. The sky is illuminated with lightning as thunder strikes. It begins to rain, as Trekkon grasps his chains, Fenix attached.
[05:53] * Trekkon turns to face Rasake and Kominushu, while Sesra and Katume stand beside Trekkon.
[05:54] <Trekkon> ...You hate me now, don't you, Kominushu?
[05:55] <Kominushu> Everyone is born with a pure heart, even someone as evil as Death had to have been born with one.
[05:55] <Kominushu> No one is born impure. Those who stray from the right path are sucked into a turmoil of immoral behavior.
[05:55] <Kominushu> That is why it's impossible for me to hate anyone.
[05:55] <Trekkon> Kominushu... You're too... nice.
[05:56] <Katume> Time to go, Trekkon.
[05:56] <Sesra> Death awaits your return.
[05:57] * Trekkon nods, as he faces them once more. He slightly turns his head back to Rasake and Kominushu, as he holds Fenix by his chains, her lifeless body dragging on the ground. A small tear trinkles down his face, but he quickly turns. Trekkon, Katume, and Sesra retreat shortly after.

First off - you definitely put a lot of work into the lighting. The effort is obvious. You just need to put more study into light and shadow. While I like the idea behind the color choices - the eye is drawn towards the girl in pink since she's visually contrasting everything else - the colors themselves could use some tweaking. Your anatomy does need work - the figures in the background have rather stumpy legs and twisted knees, and the pink girl's heart is too high up. Still, there is no denying the improvement, and the fact that you clearly put work into the coloring. You just need to work on the sketch some more, work on composition, anatomy, perspective, and so on. Overall, you've improved nicely, and I look forward to seeing your work next year.

This looks really good! Though I agree with hefeigal, her expression is a bit more distraught than anything else. Otherwise this looks great!

I really like this! The dark colors really work for this piece, and the rain is done beautifully!

However, I think the girl who was stabbed (Fenix?) should have a more distraught expression. Perhaps you could defined the eyebrows a bit more?
Also, I'd suggest making the characters in the background look a bit more horrified. (Unless they're on Trekkon's side.

)

But otherwise, very well done! I love the grass and lightning!
